Perth’s Jesse Chambers doing 31 marathons in 31 days, raising money for brain cancer research in mum’s honour

Jesse is raising money for the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation after losing his mum Karen when she was just 48 years old to stage four glioblastoma in September 2016.
Camera Icon Jesse Chambers is running 31 marathons in 31 days to raise money for brain cancer research.
Jesse was only 12 years old when mum Karen was diagnosed with brain cancer and everything moved really quickly.
Credit: InstagramCure Brain Cancer Foundation chief executive Andrew Giles said Jesse’s challenge highlighted the importance of continued research into glioblastoma.
“Every kilometre he runs helps raise awareness, funds vital research and brings us one step closer to better treatments for people diagnosed with brain cancer,” he said.
