Cheshire Police is now appealing for witnesses following the incident, at which firefighters remain, having been called out late last night, Tuesday. The fire broke out in a garage on Hale Road at around 10.30pm, according to Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service. Also in attendance were the command unit from Northwich Fire Station and two fire engines from Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service. “The cause of the fire is under investigation, and firefighters remain in attendance.” Cheshire Police has confirmed that officers were alerted to the fire by Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service at 10.49pm last night.
