The charity said hidden hotspots continuing to burn beneath the ground's surface could pose a serious risk to both pets and owners. Although the majority of the fires have been extinguished, the burnt ground is still not safe to walk on. "Over the course of the Dunwich fire, we have had people walking along the beach and walking around the area.
