A 19-year-old and a 59-year-old man were arrested in London on August 5, while a third man, aged 51, arrested in the Haverhill area. The arrests are linked to a serious incident that took place on Sunday, March 22, in the Moreton Hall area of Bury St Edmunds. Police were called to Mortimer Road shortly before 10.15pm following reports of a serious incident. A spokesman for Suffolk Police said:"Police believe this was a targeted incident, with no wider threat to the local community." Five other men—aged 24, 26, 28, and 47—have previously been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
