The blaze at Dunwich Heath broke out a week ago and has affected 370 acres of heathland and woodland - the equivalent of 200 football pitches.
Crews are continuing to monitor the area and tackle small outbreaks, with the incident still classified as a major incident.
The service has around 600 firefighters made up of 200 full-time and 400 on-call.
Firefighters from 18 services across the country including, Yorkshire, Dorset, Surrey and Devon also assisted crews to bring down the major incident.
