In the two year stretch since the release of their debut album, ‘Access All Areas’, FLO have remained a focal point for a new generation of RnB and girl groups alike. Their second LP, the aptly-titled club confessional ‘Therapy At The Club’, signals a definitive step into sticky-sweet, twenty-something adulthood. ‘Therapy At The Club’ is both raw and playful, tapping into hyper-online Gen Z colloquials. Other uptempo moments come with the recently-released ‘Remedied’, an anthemic pop moment with a movie soundtrack affinity – their British cadence veins through unapologetically here. Still, FLO are leading a vanguard of contemporary R&B that evokes its storied traditions while gesturing to the future.
