Dawn Richard will release her new album, ‘Creole Culture’, on October 9th via Merge Records. Following 2019 album ‘New Breed’ and ‘Second Line’, released in 2021, ‘Creole Culture’ is a fully-realised sonic world in which Richard, as King Creole, rebuilds her hometown of New Orleans in her image. Following early album preview ‘baby, can we? On the album, Richard worked with co-executive producer Katalyst, the Inglewood-based collective founded by drummer and producer Greg Paul. “Collaborating with Kataylst on the album has been a natural extension of my artistic journey,” says Richard.
