Jacques Greene will release his new album, ‘jg’, out October 16th on LUCKYME®. Following the acclaimed hazy, collaborative world of ‘Verses GT’ with Nosaj Thing, ‘jg’ strips away much of the abstraction to reveal the sharpest expression of Jacques Greene to date. Of the album, Greene says: “This record moves away from concepts and follows an intuition for places where I wanted to be and where I would be wanted. The album’s collaborations stem from the organic relationships within Jacques’ orbit: DJ BORING, Ouri & Jonah Yano, SAM-E, SEES0000, CFCF, umru, crushed and Sølv. Preceded by the singles ‘What They Say’ and ‘Closer’, Jacques Greene shares kinetic lead single ‘presence’.
