Over a decade-long career, Felix Manuel – known to the masses as Djrum – has executed a venture far beyond his comfort zone. This year Djrum makes a debut appearance at Houghton Festival, the annual Norfolk weekender curated by fabric mainstay Craig Richards. I don’t really play that game as such, but I started to see that as an interesting creative challenge. So, really, making your own tools gives a fuller level of control.
