"Most of us as volunteers also have to juggle parenting over the summer, and so we've had to reduce our opening hours a lot." The crowdfunder has been launched to help the organisation continue operating while volunteers balance caring responsibilities during the school holidays. "To keep a roof over our heads we needed some extra support over the summer," Mrs Naylor said. Any profits generated through the sale of drinks at the coffee shop are reinvested into services and resources for local families. "We offer so much more than a coffee shop," said Mrs Naylor.
