The defendant, Yi Zhao, 60, of Mitre Court, Taunton, Somerset, appeared in Taunton Crown Court on July 31 of this year, convicted of affray. According to the court listings, on December 3 of last year, Zhao used or threatened unlawful violence towards another in Taunton. The court listings state that Zhao’s conduct was "such as would cause a person of reasonable firmness present at the scene to fear for his personal safety." Zhao has been ordered to serve a community order which entails 100 hours of unpaid work. Zhao must also pay £600 in compensation and is subject to a restraining order.
