Sheldon Turner, 38, of no fixed abode, Taunton, Somerset, pleaded guilty to assaulting a constable in the execution of his duty in Taunton, Somerset, on April 18 of this year. Edward Hayes, 41, of East Reach, Taunton, Somerset, was sentenced in Taunton Magistrates’ Court. The listings state Hayes entered Mei’s Buffet Restaurant on East Street, Taunton, as a trespasser on July 25 of this year with intent to steal.
