Dawn Richard has announced her new album, Creole Culture, due out October 9th via Merge Records. The New Orleans multidisciplinary artist has also revealed the project’s latest single, “enough.” Creole Culture is Richard’s love letter to her hometown, the latest iteration of her relationship with the location after 2019’s New Breed and 2021’s Second Line. “Creole Culture is my way of saying that New Orleans culture doesn’t have to live in the past to be authentic,” Richard reflected in a press release.
