A 30-year-old Wrexham man has been jailed following a shoplifting spree. Callum Goult of Maelor Place, Ruabon was charged with eight counts of theft from a shop on Monday August 3. Goult was remanded into custody to appear before Wrexham Magistrates Court on Tuesday, (4 August, where he was jailed for eight weeks. Sergeant Gwen Jones said: “Shoplifting and retail theft is regarded as a victimless crime but is detrimental to local businesses. “We will continue to work with partners and residents protect those working in the retail sector.”
