Currently, Rodrigo is going all out on social media in support of reproductive rights, partnering with the Center for Reproductive Rights and Planned Parenthood — both of which are beneficiaries of Daisy Chain Fields, which features a women-only lineup along with all net proceeds going toward nonprofits advocating for women and girls. On July 21, the Center for Reproductive Rights released a series of videos with Rodrigo discussing the importance of reproductive healthcare, in which Rodrigo called pro-life laws “pro-control.” Rodrigo’s activism, and her use of her platform to share her beliefs, is inspiring — and unfortunately, not as common among her famous peers. As people with millions of followers and millions of dollars, it’s ignorant to pretend celebrities hold no influence over the public. Rodrigo has always been clear on where she stands, and has created a framework for activism that other celebs need to follow.
