Drivers who use the Collings Avenue Bridge to travel between Gloucester City and Camden City will need to use alternate routes for the next several months. Repairs on the bridge began Tuesday, Aug. 4, closing the bridge to traffic traveling over Newton Creek in Camden County. WATCH HERE WATCH HEREAccording to Camden County officials, the repairs are part of a $2.5 million project which will replace the bridge's concrete deck, sidewalks, and parapet. County officials expect the bridge to be closed for approximately three months, reopening in November 2026. During the closure, traffic will detour to Route 676 Exit 3, with motorists able to use Broadway and Morgan Boulevard in Camden.
