(DIPR Photo)Niuland, August 5 (MExN): Niuland district administration organised an awareness programme on four-way Waste Segregation and Solid Waste Management Rules 2026, at DC conference hall, Niuland on August 5. Resource persons, Yanathung Kithan, Scientist - B from Nagaland Pollution Control Board and Kaiho Achumi, Asst Technology Manager, (ATMA) Department of Agriculture gave a comprehensive presentation on waste segregation and solid waste management. While highlighting the methods of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, Kithan said improper waste management has devastating consequences which is a major cause of environmental degradation. Kaiho Achumi also gave a comprehensive presentation on solid waste management and composting methods.
