BMW never sold a pickup version of the M3 or M4, though the company did build a handful of one-offs for its own amusement. In fact, that figure clears the sticker on a brand-new 2026 M4 Competition xDrive Coupe, which lists at $91,700. California builder DinMann drew inspiration from the 1986 BMW E30 M3 Ute prototype and the drop-top E92 M3 Pickup dreamed up as an April Fool’s gag in 2011. To pull it off, he bought a new 2022 M4 Competition that left the factory as a Competition xDrive coupe, for the express purpose of cutting it apart.
