For millions of car owners, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto have become an essential part of everyday life. It now seems as though GM may be softening its stance on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, or is at least slow-walking their removal. The online configuration tools for several 2027 Cadillac models still list the two features as standard equipment. Tweaks to Cadillac’s own infotainment system include large icons for frequently used functions and a new queue function for paid streaming services, including Spotify. Carscoops has reached out to GM seeking an update on its plan to scrap Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
