MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is offering a free firearms safety and training course for residents later this month. According to the sheriff’s office, the two-day course begins Monday, August 24, at the Sheriff’s Outreach Section Office, located at 774 Hazel St. The second class will be held Tuesday, August 25, at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Training Facility, located at 1166 Jackson St. For more information or to register, contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Outreach Section at 478-803-2710.
