The Gunners have reached the Champions League final twice in the last twenty years, but on both occasions they lost the trophy to their opponents. They understand how to win important matches in the Champions League and have the valuable experience of playing in a final, which could make their next challenge easier. If Arsenal manage to sign Vinicius Junior, Carragher believes their chances of lifting the Champions League trophy would improve significantly. According to the Metro, he said: “I think the Vinicius Junior thing is really interesting in that I do think you need something like that to win the Champions League.”
