Every few years, the foundation invites grant holders and declined applicants to complete an anonymous survey with feedback about the applications processes, grants and support offer.
A focus on ‘reducing the burden’ of applicationsFeedback from both declined applicants and grant holders suggested the “clearest opportunity” for improvement was through “reducing the burden” of application processes.
Ratings show PHF was in the bottom third of CEP’s dataset for helpfulness of the application process.
Gillian-Thomas said the organisation would also look to providing more support for grant holders to raise their profile, network and collaborate.
The foundation will now use the results of the survey to “shape future improvements” across its funded programmes.
