Ash said she couldn’t specify the allegations against Sarnia police Chief Derek Davis or the number of people under investigation to protect privacy and the integrity of the investigation. The criminal investigation comes as Davis is suspended with pay pending the outcome of a workplace harassment investigation. Former Toronto deputy chief Mike Federico is serving as interim police chief. The criminal investigation is not affecting the workplace investigation or police operations, Ash said.
