Registration opens for Christina Koch's NC State homecomingRALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Registration opens Wednesday for a special homecoming celebration welcoming astronaut Christina Koch back to NC State University. NC State is planning a campus celebration to recognize Koch's accomplishments and her connection to the university. Registration opens Wednesday, Aug. 5, though the university has not yet released a registration link. The celebration will continue Aug. 25 with a panel discussion featuring Koch, NC State Chancellor Kevin Howell and selected faculty and students. The event, which is open to current NC State students, will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. in Stewart Theatre.
