Article contentWith the August 21 municipal election nomination deadline approaching, I encourage Hanover residents who care about the future of our community to consider running for council. What matters is a willingness to listen, ask questions, consider the information and scientific evidence provided, and represent the entire community. Hundreds of people spoke through letters, public discussion and a Change.org petition that has now reached approximately 700 signatures. Too often, the voices of a small number of residents can carry more weight than the concerns of hundreds of others. The August 21 deadline is approaching.
