Article contentOn July 30 at 12:30 p.m., Hanover Police Service officers were called to a local motel for an unwanted person who was previously trespassed from the property. The investigation determined a woman had driven to the location in a pickup truck in violation of a release order that stated she was not to occupy the driver’s seat of any motor vehicle. Officers arrested the woman and also located more than 110 grams of methamphetamine with a street value of approximately $11,000, along with stolen Ontario driver’s licences and an Ontario Health Card belonging to another person. She was held for a bail hearing and later remanded into custody. Anyone with information on any person involved in the distribution of illicit drugs is encouraged to contact the police service of jurisdiction or their local Crime Stoppers program.
