The Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center leaders are excited to present the 2026 Summer on the Square concert on Saturday, August 8, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Alexander County Courthouse Park in downtown Taylorsville. As previously announced, this year’s event features a fresh approach, placing the spotlight squarely on the incredible musical talent that calls Alexander County home. “We’re surrounded by incredibly talented musicians, and this year’s Summer on the Square is all about giving them the stage they deserve,” said Kara Smith, Executive Director of the Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center. “We hope our community will come out, enjoy a great evening of live music, and celebrate the artists who make Alexander County such a special place.” Summer on the Square is presented by the Hiddenite Arts & Heritage Center as part of its ongoing mission to support local artists and provide opportunities for the community to experience the rich cultural heritage of Alexander County.
