Denise Marcelle officially qualifies as a candidate for Justice of the Peace, District 4, bringing decades of public service, legal experience, and community advocacy to her campaign focused on fairness, integrity, and being a voice for the people of East Baton Rouge Parish. BATON ROUGE, La. — After decades of dedicated public service, advocacy, and commitment to the people of East Baton Rouge Parish, State Rep. C. Denise Marcelle officially qualified as a candidate for Justice of the Peace, District 4, beginning a new chapter focused on fairness, integrity, and community-centered leadership. Her public service experience also includes work with the Baton Rouge City Constable’s Office and the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, giving her firsthand knowledge of the justice system and community needs. In addition to her government experience, Marcelle is a paralegal and licensed Notary Public, bringing valuable legal knowledge, attention to detail, and experience with legal processes to the Justice of the Peace role.
