A mix of musical magic closes out Music in the Park for this year By Trail Arts Council August 5th, 2026Join the Trail & District Arts Council and Trail’s Incredible Farmers Market on August 13 for an entertaining evening of food vendors, market, and live music for The Night Market, supported by Kootenay Insurance Services’. From 5 pm to 8:30 pm there’s lots to do in Gyro Park for our last event of the summer season. Headliners, The Tim Sars Quartet, is a horn heavy quartet that fuses together New Orleans street beat, Latin jazz, and funk. Rooted in family and driven by rhythm, this jazz quartet brings a vibrant, cross-genre sound to every stage they play. Their performances celebrate improvisation, cultural fusion, and the deep musical language they’ve built together over years of playing side by side.
