The 3,053-square-metre scheme includes 14 levels of parking and a new road access from Ash Road South. They explained that the car park comprises a split-level, open-sided multi-storey car park with architectural mesh cladding, natural ventilation and a new vehicle access from Ash Road South. The car park will provide 402 spaces, with an additional 163 surface spaces either retained or reconfigured. The proposed site is currently a vacant surface car park with concrete hardstanding. Specialist consultees did not object to the car park in principle.
