The hospice launched its Stand with Bolton Hospice campaign to press for a long-term, sustainable funding solution for hospice care, warning that it must raise more than £5.5 million of its £7 million annual running costs through fundraising and donations.
Laura said her father's final days were peaceful and believes specialist end-of-life care should be available to everyone who needs it.
Another supporter, Gill, recalled how both of her parents were cared for at Bolton Hospice in 2012 after being admitted within a short period of each other.
Bolton Hospice provides specialist palliative and end-of-life care for more than 700 local people every year, both within the hospice and in the community.
