Jangaon:A woman was injured after being attacked by a large python while working in an agricultural field at Kanchanpalli village in Raghunathpalli mandal of Jangaon district on Wednesday. The victim, identified as Swapna, was working in a maize field when the nearly 12-foot-long python allegedly attacked her. In an unusual development, the family captured the python and brought it to the hospital, attracting curious onlookers and causing brief commotion. Macharla Bikshapathi, who treated the woman, said she responded well to emergency treatment and was out of danger. The incident has caused concern among residents of Kanchanpalli village.
