Hyderabad:Telangana will study the functioning of ex-servicemen corporations in other states after a proposal to establish a dedicated unit for Telangana was placed before Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju. The proposal was discussed during a meeting between Director of Sainik Welfare Brig. During the meeting, the Sainik Welfare Director also sought an early meeting of the State Sainik Board, chaired by the Chief Minister. The Chief Secretary assured that steps would be taken to obtain the Chief Minister’s approval and convene the meeting at the earliest. The Chief Secretary said the government would examine these issues sympathetically and coordinate with the concerned departments to address them.
