Hyderabad:Hyderabad is set to strengthen urban mobility through integrated planning, with a focus on safer roads, improved traffic management. The initiatives were discussed at a Hyderabad Unified Metropolitan Transport Authority(HUMTA) review meeting held on Wednesday. Karnan, and D. Joel Davis, joint commissioner of police (traffic), chaired the Working Group-2 meeting convened by B. Jeevan Babu, managing director, HUMTA, to discuss measures for building a smarter, safer, and more connected transport system. The meeting focused on strengthening inter-departmental coordination, improving transport infrastructure, and enhancing seamless mobility through integrated planning. Discussions also focused on developing commuter-friendly infrastructure to ensure faster, safer, and more convenient travel for citizens.
