A 38-year-old man and his sister died after being attacked by a wild bear in Chhattisgarh's Kanker district on Wednesday, August 5, according to forest officials. Another sister of the victims sustained injuries during the afternoon incident, which occurred in a field within Largaon Markatola village under the Narharpur forest range. Villagers reported that the bear remained near the victims' bodies and continued to claw at them even after the attack.
