A nine-year-old girl who died after being critically injured at an Arbroath industrial estate has been named as Minnie Merriman from West Yorkshire. Emergency services were called to Elliot Industrial Estate at around 12.02am on Monday. The girl was rushed to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee but later died as a result of her injuries. Locals reported seeing the family in the area on Sunday afternoon using a small tent and a vehicle. Family tribute“Our family asks that our privacy is respected at this extremely difficult time.”
