Abdoulaye Yoro is set to arrive in Scotland by the end of this week to officially complete his move to Dundee United. Yoro, 19, has already agreed terms on a season-long loan deal from Turkish side from Basaksehir FK, while the Ivorian midfielder received a Governing Body Endorsement from the Scottish FA last week. Barring any delays, United are hopeful Yoro will arrive in Scotland on Friday to be officially unveiled as the club’s 11th summer signing, with a view to taking part in his first training session on Saturday. Should that timeframe come to pass, it will be up to Tangerines’ boss Jim Goodwin whether the promising youngster is deemed in contention for the trip to face Hearts on Sunday. If the game in Gorgie proves too soon, as could well be the case, then Yoro will undoubtedly be in the picture for the subsequent visit of Celtic in the Premier Sports Cup last-16.
