CUERO —The Cuero High School Band Booster Club has launched a fundraising campaign to replace the band’s aging uniforms, with a matching gift challenge that organizers say could raise more than $100,000 for the project.
“Our students spend countless hours rehearsing, performing and representing Cuero with pride,” Geiser said.
More than 70 students are expected to participate in the Cuero High School Band this year.
Band Director Dr. Kendall Prinz said the aging uniforms have become increasingly difficult to use, especially during South Texas heat.
If the fundraising goal is reached, the campaign will generate more than $100,000 to replace the band’s uniforms before the next school year.
