Emami has strengthened its sustainability performance in FY2025-26, delivering measurable progress across climate action, renewable energy, circular economy, resource efficiency, water conservation, workplace safety, and community development. Total energy consumption declined by 8.46 percent, while non-renewable energy consumption fell 10.71 percent through efficiency initiatives and cleaner energy adoption. Renewable energy now accounts for 21 percent of Emami’s total energy mix, supported by rooftop solar and on-site solar installations. The company has set a target of increasing renewable energy consumption to 30 percent across operations by FY2026-27. Total waste generation declined 9.85 percent to 2,238.23 metric tonnes from 2,482.67 metric tonnes a year earlier, while waste intensity improved from 0.79 metric tonnes per ₹ crore of turnover to 0.73 metric tonnes per ₹ crore.
