According to police, the incident occurred on July 21, 2026, at Living Room International Hospital along the busy Eldoret-Kaptagat Road and was reported by the victim’s parents to Ainabkoi Police Station. The suspect, identified as a cleaner who has worked at the hospital for a decade, is said to have fled. According to the victim’s family, the minor had been taken to the hospital for treatment and asked to provide a stool sample. It was while visiting the hospital washroom that she allegedly encountered the cleaner who sexually assaulted her. The parents said the incident has left the minor deeply traumatized and unable to resume her normal school routine.
