['Iw Council Press Office', 'Min Read']
Isle of Wight News from OnTheWight
How the scheme worksSince February, members at participating libraries have been able to borrow an Amazfit Bip 6 smart watch completely free of charge, for up to six weeks.
Whether it’s a short walk along the beach, gardening at home, a gentle evening cycle, every bit of movement supports better physical and mental health.
The smart watch can help residents set achievable goals and enjoy simple, everyday activity.
“We all need to keep fit as we know if you are physical fit and active you’re mental well-being improves.
“I will be popping into Ryde Library to take advantage of the smart watch programme and promote it to Ryde residents.
