YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Mercy Health – St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital and East Liverpool City Hospital are among 102 hospitals across Ohio that are being recognized by the American Heart Association. The recognition is for the hospitals’ commitment to improving care for patients with heart disease and stroke through Get With The Guidelines quality improvement programs. 4 causes of death in the United States, respectively, according to the American Heart Association’s 2026 Heart Disease and Stroke Statistics report.
