Marshall County Sheriffs Office is set to host The Iowa State Resource Officers Association Training Seminar and Competition Shoot. Sheriff Joel Phillips says this is around the 30th time that Marshall County has been the host. The Iowa State Patrol will cover safety inspections on commercial vehicles. The competition shoot will happen Sunday, August 9thSheriff Phillips say the Marshalltown Police Department will be involved on Saturday when they do the Dan Brandt Memorial Dedication at 1pm.
