BHP (NYSE: BHP) has been named the world’s strongest mining brand for 2026, according to a new Brand Finance report. The Toronto-based company trails only Glencore (LSE: GLEN) in overall brand value. Despite its brand value dropping 2% to US$5 billion, BHP remained the strongest mining brand with a Brand Strength Index score of 80.1/100 and an AA+ brand strength rating. Tongling Nonferrous Metals was named fastest growing brand in the sector, with a 51% brand value jump. Brand Finance is a London-based brand valuation consultancy.
