President Donald Trump’s administration is planning to roll back federal requirements for the Head Start program. “We see that change has always been a part of Head Start, and that will definitely continue,” said Jill Bomberger, Director of Community Action Head Start. Trump’s administration would replace those regulations with a dozen pages of rules, leaving the rest to state and local laws. Bomberger said they are always working to be better at Head Start, but this plan could change their main mission.
