Nazareth’s Dylan Wellner announced his commitment to play Division II football at Central Missouri on July 10. A rising senior linebacker and running back, Wellner earned All-CCL honors his junior season. He compiled 107 total tackles, 17 tackles for loss, two interceptions, four sacks, nine pass breakups and six forced fumbles last season. IC Catholic Prep’s Anthony Carroccio, a rising senior who plays wide receiver and defensive back for the Knights, announced July 17 that he’ll continue his academics and football career at Yale. Sims, a rising senior, helped Mount Carmel to a 14-0 record and a Class 8A state championship last season.
