Sunway Medical Centre Velocity (SMCV) has become the first hospital in Southeast Asia to deploy the comprehensive NORAV Clinical Management System, integrating six diagnostic services into a single digital platform. Authorised healthcare professionals can access patient diagnostic information and reports from anywhere within the hospital in real time. By replacing fragmented, manual processes with a unified digital workflow, the system cuts administrative workload and improves turnaround time for diagnostic reports. The digitalisation of ECG reports and other diagnostic data is expected to cut SMCV's ECG paper usage by up to 50%, supporting the hospital's sustainability efforts alongside gains in operational efficiency. The deployment is part of SMCV's broader push to strengthen sustainability, improve operational efficiency and deliver a more connected patient experience.
