Mary Darlene Rector, 76, of Florence, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2026, in Cedar Park, Texas. Mary was born on December 29, 1949, in Taylor, Texas, to Roy Lee Handsel and Eula Mae Wade Handsel. At the age of 16, she married the love of her life, Larry David Rector, on December 3, 1966, in Austin, Texas. Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband, Larry Rector; her children, Shannon Rector, Tiffany Eklund, and Jennifer Schuch; her grandchildren, Tyler Ash, Nicole Ash, Eric Schuch, Matthew Schuch, and Katelyn Schuch; and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services for Mary Darlene Rector will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Oakview Cemetery in Mullin, Texas.
