Two people from the metro Atlanta area are believed to be responsible for a series of auto break-ins in Franklin County. According to Franklin County Sheriff Scott Andrews, the break-ins happened at the Franklin County Livestock Sale Barn on Stone Bridge Road over the past 18 months. Sheriff Andrews said the suspects would arrive at the Sale Barn in a rental vehicle with a falsified license plate. During the auction, he said they would enter unlocked vehicles in the auction barn parking lot searching for money. Lewis and Patrick are currently being held in the Forsyth County jail on separate charges with a hold on them for Franklin County, according to Andrews.
