The Nigeria National League (NNL) has commended Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, for accepting to host the league’s 17th Annual General Meeting in Owerri. The participants are expected to arrive in the Imo State capital on August 20 and depart two days later. The NNL said the AGM would provide an opportunity for its leadership and representatives of the participating clubs to review the just-concluded season. Alanana expressed confidence that Imo State would provide a conducive environment for the successful hosting of the meeting. The gathering will see representatives of all 34 NNL clubs converge on Owerri as preparations for the 2026/2027 campaign gather momentum.
